PC Live Arcade Gets Semi-Obscure Internal Name, Release Date

After a little speculation fueled the fire earlier with Gueco’s post announcing the new PC equivalent of Xbox Live Arcade, the results are in! Microsoft has let loose the internal name of the service, dubbing it “Vega” — which certainly beats past code names like Xenon, Zephyr, or Ocracoke (seriously).
Now onto the less important matters. Vega will start to infect alpha-moms and those too cool for consoles in early November. Joining the launch will be a lineup of “10-20 games” that will follow the standard practice of size limits and pricing already on the Xbox Live Marketplace, although pricing seems to be a little more lax ranging up to USD $30.
(Thanks, Joystiq.)
