“Just Play” Xbox 360 SKU Rumored

Gamer Node received word from their Microsoft Belgium ’sources’ that the Xbox 360 Core is being completely phased out but, will be replaced by the Xbox 360 Arcade – Just Play package. Interesting name to say the least. The bundle comes with 5 arcade games (which look to include Pac-Man and UNO), a 256MB Memory Unit and HDMI-out sans HDMI cable. The chart also indicates that the new Arcade pack will come with a wireless controller.
This all sounds well and good but the image supplied by Gamer Node looks a bit sketchy. There seems to be some weird cutting problems on the Elite model, the “Arcade” text is completely different than the “Just Play” text below and the green block behind the ‘Arcade” text looks like the work of an inexperienced Photoshop user.
I’m not falling for this one. It looks like a fake. We’ll have to wait and see if Microsoft says anything about it.
Images of the problems after the break.

Anyone else think this is a fake?

MS should figure out a way to phase out the non-harddrive 360’s. Put out a budget system with a 10gig drive or something.

[...] Back in August this bundle was first uncovered. The image supplied was (and still is) ’sketchy’ to say the least. There was good reason to think that it was fake. Maybe it was, maybe it was just a quick mock-up; nobody knows. What we do know now is that the 360 Arcade Bundle is here to stay, and for a low price of only $279.99. [...]
