Manhunt 2 Gets M-rated Resurrection on Halloween

It seemed for a while that we would never see Manhunt 2 on store shelves, but today Rockstar has announced that the previously AO-plagued game will be released in a “modified version” this Halloween.

If you’ve been following game media for the past few months, you would know all about Manhunt 2’s cursed release. First it was the UK outright banning the game, then came the ESRB dishing out an “Adults Only” rating, followed by the rest of what was left of hope for the game’s release quickly crumbling to the ground.

Now the game appears to back on track and set for release on October 31st for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii, and Sony PSP.

Awaiting Jack Thompson’s response…
