Joust Saddles Up to Hit the Big Screen

In one of the strangest deals yet, CP Productions has revealed plans to take the arcade classic Joust, and…turn it into a movie…yeah, we’re just as confused as you are.
Producer Michael Cerenzie is heading up the project, and GameDaily picked up the first details:
Cerenzie calls the new script by Marc Gottlieb “Gladiator meets Mad Max.” The film is set 25 years in the future and includes a Las Vegas suspended in mid-air.
This means two things to me: a.) The future is going to kick all kinds of ass and b.) Joust: The Movie: The Game is going to blow our minds.
