If you pick up the latest issue of Wired, you’ll not only be treated to a crazy-awesome article about the development process of Halo 3, but you’ll get to see how the renound gaming based webcomic Penny Arcade came to be, and how those two guys roll. It’s a killer read and is available online for free, but the issue is cheap and sports a cover so ugly it’s cute. The article is a titanic amount of pages and incredibly interesting. Check it out here, or purchase an issue of the magazine. Do it. It’s that awesome, and come on, who doesn’t like PA?

This is actually a really good read. Whether you like the comic or not, it’s hard to ignore their contribution to the gaming community.
Not only do they run one of the biggest conventions around, they’ve spread the love to the underprivileged by donating over $2 million to charity.
And this quote is great:
“One time in high school, someone broke into my locker and stole my stuff, so I had to wear gym clothes for the rest of the day. I developed humor as a defense mechanism. Now I drive a fucking Mercedes.”
