Mass Effect Release Date: November 20

Those fine fellows at Gamerscore Blog have announced with much glee that Mass Effect has an official release date of November 20th. For those of you living under a rock, Mass Effect is a, well, massive RPG set during a time in which humans have just begun space travel and are trying to integrate themselves into universal society.

We’re covered Mass Effect quite extensively on GameStooge, but it can best be summed up in this long developer interview video shot by 1UP. The most exciting aspect for many people? The dynamic conversation mechanic - and the graphics as well, since, like Bioshock, the entire game looks like a prerendered cut-scene.

We just sent a press release out with the announcement of the North America ship date and price for Mass Effect.  The game will hit shelves on November 20, with a price of $59.99.  ass Effect is rated “M” for “Mature” by the ESRB.
