XBLM: NHL 08, TimeShift Demos

As we near the busy holiday gaming lineup, everybody wants you to check out how great their game is, and avoid the bargain bins due to lack of public awareness. EA seems hell-bent on letting you know they still exist lately, with demos from just about every single title in their arsenal hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace over the past few weeks.
NHL 08 is the latest to join the fray, with a demo dropping today, which my ignorance is assuming plays a heck of a lot like last year’s game.
TimeShift has been a strange case to follow. Originally released in an OXM-exclusive magazine pack-in, the first playable demo of Sierra’s FPS did little to invoke the “wows” that the concept of time travel may inspire in a shooter, but the game has undergone a pretty significant overhaul that may change your mind — then again, it could always get buried in the Halo/Call of Duty onslaught.
