Orange Box Delayed “A Couple of Weeks” on PS3

Gamespot is reporting that Valve’s director of marketing Doug Lombardi has confirmed that the Orange Box for PS3:
“… will trail the PC and Xbox 360 versions by a couple of weeks.”
I hope that I’m not the only person not surprised by this. With the recent EA games being pushed back on PS3 (skate, Medal of Honour: Airborne, and just recently, Alone in the Dark) and Valve’s inability to hit release dates (See: Episodic Content), this was bound to happen.
EA didn’t give any particular reason for the delay, nor did they give a specific release date. But, Gamestop has the PS3 version of the Orange Box listed for November 9th. So expect the PC and Xbox 360 versions shipping “a couple weeks” prior.
(Thanks, Gamespot.)
