Maybe “lack of online” is a bit of an overstatement, but Cyberball 2072 is a game meant for head-to-head competition, not online co-op. Whatever the developers’ intentions were, there’s a chance in here for you guys to get some free stuff via Microsoft’s wallet.
BIGVIP (AKA Group Marketing Manager for Xbox Aaron Greenberg) announced on the GamerScore Blog that a “tournament” has started that could likely net you some cool stuff:
- 1st Place: Set of new color controllers + MS Points Card
- 2nd Place: 120 GB HDD + MS Points Card
- 3rd Place: Messenger Kit + MS Points Card
- 4th Place: Copy of Blue Dragon + MS Points Card
- 5th Place: 1 Year Xbox LIVE Gold + MS Points Card
- 6th-10th Place: One 1600 MS Points Card
I’m not sure who in their right mind would shoot for first place instead of second, but for the deets on how you can enter, check out Greenberg’s post on the GamerScore Blog.
