Make Love Not Warcraft Wins Emmy

EwwwThe classic 10th season South Park episode “Make Love Not Warcraft” just won the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program (Less Than 1 Hour). For those of you who don’t know the episode, it features our foursome getting geekified when some troll starts killing people left and right in the game. Hours and hours of our Hot Pocket-eating boys playing World of Warcraft makes them fat and pimple-faced; Cartman even arranges it so that he can have diarrhea without having to stop playing.

It’s actually one of the less vicious episodes - even Kenny remains alive (though his WoW character gets killed often.) The 10th Season South Park DVD set is out - or you can do what I did and buy that specific episode on Xbox Live Marketplace. (It’s the 3rd most popular TV show individual episode on XBLM, in fact.)

(Thanks, Joystiq.)

[...] to Joystiq, Blizzard confirmed The Sword of a 1000 Truths is real. Those of you who saw the Emmy award winning South Park episode “Make Love not Warcraft” may remember that The Sword was a fictional sword that Stan was given to defeat an evil gamer [...]
