Although many haven’t exactly found it the hardest task in the history of gaming, there are still a bunch who haven’t managed to sneak their way into the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer beta. GameSpot has just started up a mass giveaway of beta tokens, that, when completed, will let 100,000 new users in.
If you’re over 17 and in North America, you’re eligible to enter the contest. How? Well, I’m glad you asked:
How it works is quite simple: Our big stockpile of tokens will be broken up into five stashes. Each day we will release one of those stashes. If you get a beta token, great. If you don’t, try again the next day. Once you sign up, you’ll get a token code and a confirmation email. You’ll use your Token Code to download the Beta from Xbox Live Marketplace.
Today’s cache is already drained out, but there’s still 80,000 more tokens up for grabs, so bookmark this page to try again tomorrow.
