Microsoft Can Commence Rolling Around in Money, Part III

We can print our own MONEY! AGAIN!Remember when we told you back in May analysts conservatively predicted $172M bonanza for Halo 3 in the first fiscal quarter? In August, GameStop alone had 1 million preorders? Well, according to another analyst Colin Sebastian, Halo 3 will make over $200M in its debut. He doesn’t state what time frame, but he compares it to the $125M first day payday Halo 2 received.

There’s a phrase for this: cash cow.

At $200M in its first day, or first few days – has there ever been any sort of product debut like this? Ever?

(Of course, some people don’t give a shit. What can you do?)
