They didn't pack in an HDMI cable. What makes you think they'll pack in the new controller?

You can't compare this new controller to the Halo 3 accessories. Those don't have new features. It's just a design. It doesn't have motion, it doesn't have anything new.

Again - look at the 360 accessories... They're optional... Besides, you REALLY think Sony won't pack it in the box EVENTUALLY?

You're jaded, and wrong, if you think so.

No they're not being asked - it's completely optional. They shouldn't need the new controller, and spending $50 on another one isn't an argument when people go out and spend the same amount on all the Halo garbage that's been flooding games shops for the past few weeks.

It's a small trade-off for buying all the overpriced accessories the 360 offers: I'd rather pay $50 for a new controller any day than shell out $100 for a proprietary wireless adapter.

The other problem is that rumble controllers are not the standard for PS3 units. Some companies may not include a feature in their games if only a percentage, especially a low one, own a rumble controller.

And gamers spent $600 for their system - they're being asked to spend $50 more.

How about play-and-charge, wireless controllers, wireless headsets, and now all the Halo accessories?

"So how are you going to feel when they charge you an extra $50 for a rumbling Sixaxis?"

I don't think that matters. If you want it, you'll pay...and it's not like the other controllers will suddenly cease to work. If you don't care about rumble, you don't have to buy it. It's the same as buying an extra controller for the system.

And "Too little, too late."? It's a minor change, that, like I said before, people don't have to embrace if they don't want to. It's not a game breaking feature to be missing. I, personally, am not bothered by the absence, but for many games it's important (Rockstar's Table Tennis is a prime example.).

Um... No? You don't really own/play a PS3 at all... This isn't something NEEDED but would be a great addition to many PS3 owners. It's not too late at all.
