Konami has revealed that one of the PlayStation 3’s most anticipated games (and perhaps the saving grace of the system), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, will be making it’s playable debut at this week’s Tokyo Game Show.
Kojima, and generally any Japanese-based developers, generally stick to their roots when showing off their biggest and best games, and the same holds true for this year at TGS. Joystiq is reporting that MGS4 will be playable for all the game journalists (and perhaps public) attendees this week, alongside a stable of other Konami published titles such as Wii Fitness (not Wii Fit), Pilates, Yoga, Skin Basic, and a few others that probably won’t make it stateside.
Speculation/Hopefulness Time: If Konami wanted to make the greatest impact, and rip off Xbox LIVE’s Bringing it Home campaign, a MGS4 demo on the PlayStation Network would certainly cause a stir in the PlayStation community. Here’s hoping…
