Bungie Promising a “Big Surprise” Before Halo 3 Launch

Bungie has injected some intrigue into the coming Halo 3 launch - as if ban scares, Master Chief’s fate, and who’ll win a fantastic Halo 3 rig (among other things) weren’t enough suspense.
No, Bungie is promising a “big surprise” before the Halo 3 launch.
Luke [Smith, ex-1Up and EGM editor] messes with our heads mentioning that Bungie will reveal a “long awaited pre-launch surprise” sometime before September 25th
What could it be?
- Clan support?
- The Halo movie announcement?
- Master Chief is real and kills dinosaurs?

If he said long awaited then it has to be something more than a year old I’d say.
Probably announcing their next big release. Not a Halo game either.

It’s probably that Fox and Universal have agreed to start production on the Halo movie, with Jackson’s choice of director helming it - with the $200M in the launch promised and the high quality of the live-action Halo videos…
