Jeez, the last thing a consumer should be spouting off about are EULAs bro. I'm sorry, but those are mostly indefensible piles of legal bullsh*t that do nothing but harm consumers.

I also don't really care how many millions Micro-bucks funded their game for, its not like they won't make bazillions in profits.

I like Halo, but M$ doesn't need us sticking up for them, they have legions of lawyers doing that for them.

Go ahead, it's your right to boycott. But they're not banning the console, just the account.

Uh, that's the retailers fault, not some kid who's mom buys him Halo. If someone buys it early, why should MS BAN THEM for BUYING THEIR PRODUCT?

I would 100% boycott.

Either way, it's been updated on Joystiq and it's only for MS employees, who likely have signed something.

Ever heard of End User Agreements? If Microsoft doesn't want people playing their game without their permission, it's their legal right to prevent it. After all, they're the ones who spent tens of millions of dollars funding it. You're only paying $60-$130. I certainly don't want people posting spoilers all over the internet about, erm, specific plot points.

Though I'd be pissed if I popped it in thinking it's midnight and it's only September 24, 11:59PM. :p
