When Microsoft announced Ikaruga on XBLA, PS3 faithful may have thought that it will eventually come to PSN, too. While it could ‘eventually’ go to PSN, it won’t be happening any time soon. 1UP sat down with Treasure’s main man Masato Maegawa to talk about XBLA, possible ports to PSN and their secret Wii title.
The most interesting thing on the 1UP interview is when they ask Maegawa about Treasure’s plans for PSN:
Offering Titles for PSN?
Right now it’s not in the cards. According to Maegawa, Treasure just got fully up and running on developing for Xbox Live Arcade, so to move resources to PSN just now wouldn’t make much sense.
Sure, it’s not a definite “No.”, but it’s as close as you’re going to get to one.
The interview hits on a few other topics as well. Hit the link to see it in it’s entirety.
