Axiom: Overdrive – Strange New Xbox Live Arcade Title

XBLArcade has done some detective work and found a strange new game from Reflexive Entertainments Independent Games Festival entries called Axiom: Overdrive.
Upon investigating further, I finally hit the jackpot when I came full circle back to IGF.com. I clicked on the screenshot for Axiom: Overdrive and upon close examination of the screenshot I saw what you see on the right here. Clear indication that this game was XBLA bound. Upon contacting Reflexive my suspicions were confirmed.
And thus, Axiom: Overdrive has been uncovered and we’ve got one more game to anticipate. But, what is Axiom: Overdrive? Well all we know so far is from the description at IGF:
Deep within a ravaged asteroid mine there is work to be done. Equipped with an OTF, players grapple with unique physics-based game-play as they explore the mine’s dark corridors and discover…
…they are not alone!The game is being developed by the same team that brought us Wik and has apparently been in development for some time. My hope is that the game is as quirky and innovative as Wik but attracts a much wider audience (because I want more cool, quirky games!)
We’ll have to see what it is at the next IGF.
