Madden NFL 08 Goes Spanish

Electronic Arts has released a Spanish language version of their monolithic football game, called Madden NFL ‘08 en Espanol, with Alvaro Martin as the gameplay announcer.
The new game might seem experimental to English-speaking gamers but the NFL’s efforts in reaching out to Spanish-speaking fans has grown significantly over the last few years with broadcasts on NFLatino.com, NFL Monday Night Football on ESPN Deportes, NBC Sunday Night Football in Spanish via SAP, Univision Radio and specials on Telemundo. EA Sports and the NFL have a close relationship and the extension of the Madden 08 series to Spanish-speaking gamers serves as a new way to attract gamers to the 18-year old series and most likely gain new players.
