Well, a few months later may not qualify as “soon”, but Capcom has officially announced Street Fighter 4. Both GamesRadar and PlayStation Extreme have reported the news that the first iteration of the series in years will be coming to next-gen consoles (read as: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.)
You have to wonder - will they go with spiffy 3D graphics, or 2D hand-drawn animation? Either way is good, really. Look at the excitement Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is getting.
All you Street Fighter fans, let’s hear your delight at this news.

I once played a 3D Streer Fighter on the PS2 and loved it.

I think that they should go with both. Maybe even on one disc if possible. Personally I’d rather see 2D graphics, fresh 2D graphics on some SF3 Third Strike status
I’m excited

please please please keep the game 2D. Although I enjoy 3d games such as virtua fighter and tekken, the spirit of street fighter (and capcom games in general) lies in two dimensions. I would be pissed if they made street fighter 3D.
Although i’d still buy it
