The Sword of 1000 Truths Is Real
This is week-old news, but still notable: According to Joystiq, Blizzard confirmed The Sword of a 1000 Truths is real. Those of you who saw the Emmy award winning South Park episode “Make Love not Warcraft” may remember that The Sword was a fictional sword that Stan was given to defeat an evil gamer “with absolutely no life”. It doesn’t do 120 DPS with instant mana burn and have an additional enchant of +80 stamina, but it does pack the whallop one might expect of a level 70 purple item, and is probably the ultimate nerd cred in the game. Too bad it’s not unique per server.

I’m with MitchyD, I’m pretty sure I read this a long time ago, not long after that South Park episode aired. It was in pics among a bunch of other new level 70 items.

the sword of a thousand truths exists just under a different name it is called Slayer Of The Lifeless and is foretold by salzman
