Activision’s GH3 Events Detailed, Demo Tomorrow

Like any major release this holiday season, Activision’s joining in on the first-person horn tooting by having a few events planned to coincide with the release of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
Starting with the immediate future, tomorrow morning (that’s Tuesday, October 23rd) the demo for the game that was previously exclusive to those who purchased Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground or the latest OXM will be available to all of those with 360s connected to the Internet. On November 2nd, a virtual event dubbed GHIII Weekend will launch, and feature a bunch of prizes and a Game With Fame session with the developers that should let opportunistic gamers pick up an achievement for doing so. Xbox360Fanboy notes that the promotional site with all the deets has yet to launch, but we’ll be sure to let you guys know when said site goes live.
Finally, to all the Canucks out there still on the edge on whether or not they should check out what this whole “Xbox 360 thing” is, this deal at Future Shop that allows you to pick up GHII for free with any Pro unit purchase makes it seem like now is a better time than ever.
