Metal Gear Solid 4 Delayed… Again

Solid Snake is pissedKomanmi has issued a press release that Metal Gear Solid 4’s release date has been delayed again, to April-June of 2008 (2Q):

KONAMI had initially intended to release “METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS” this winter and has been working on the production of the title. KONAMI has decided to delay the title’s release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide.

The struggling PlayStation 3 can hardly afford one of its few AAA titles to be delayed this long. Maybe Konami should have taken one of IBM’s classes?
