Okay, far be it from me to mock a church charity organization, but this flyer - handed out in various GameStop stores here in Manhattan, just elicited a bunch of chuckles from me out of its cute, naive cluelessness (the Xbox 360°?). It’s obvious Halo 3 is the lead attraction here, because the other games are for the PlayStation 2 and are sports titles… from last year, as well as a GameCube with Super Smash Bros., which tells me, of course, they had to get some other stuff and those cheap used systems and games for $6.99 sure looked attractive. My favorite part? “Bring Your Own Controller”.
Afterward, I’m sure one or two of the officials will approach young Billy for some friendly proseletyzing. “You know, son, there was a real Flood a long time ago…”

I thinks it’s pretty cool. Churches need to adapt to reach the young.

Trust me, Madden 07 and NBA 2K7 on the PS2 ain’t gonna reach the young. :p

Depends on how many people attend. After all, there’s a $20 entry fee. Hopefully, my posting this flyer online will get people to go.

The contest can be used as a method of reaching out to neighborhoods. With every good idea there is always someone trying to point at the bad,and lose sight of what is important. There are all types of ideas in this world and not all of them are liked but if it is productive than what is it to you? Are the men and women behind the concept standing idle? or complaining of how bad the world is with their hands folded,no they are working and looking for those that want to join. Each man needs to make sure he has piece with God,in the day of judgement it will be only you and God.No one will be there, no family or friend only terror or confidence.
