Mass Effect Collector’s Edition Availability Mess

BioWare is, to be frank, somewhat disturbed by the availability - more precisely, the lack thereof - of the Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect. So much so, in fact, that BioWare’s Community Coordinator, Chris Prietsly, arduously keeps track of who is selling it in various global regions and how in the official forums.
Unfortunately, in Canada, Australia and Latin America, it’s not available at all.

I have recieved an update from our publisher about what regions the LCE or bonus disc will be available. I know it isn’t what many of you wanted to hear, but I did say we’d let you know when we knew.
USA
- LCE available through select online retailers
- LCE not available in stores
- Bonus disc available online or in stores (selected merchants, check your local stores) for preorders
Europe
- LCE available in store (check with local retailers)
- Bonus disc not available
Canada, Australia, Latin America
- LCE not available through online retailers
- LCE not available in stores
- Bonus Disc not available
BioWare is still seeing if there is anything that can be done with this situation. If there are any more updates, I will make them known.

This is seriously a slap in the face for the North American market (more so the Canadian Market). Which are, I believe, the biggest markets for MS in total. It makes no sense to limit the LCE in this way.
