Toys R Us: $25 Gift Card with Super Mario Galaxy

Kotaku has announced that Toys R Us is offering a free $25 gift card with every purchase of Super Mario Galaxy.

Judging by the crowds around the kiosks at Gamestops here in New York City, is Super Mario Galaxy going to be the first non-hardware system seller for the Wii? Since The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, no Wii title has sold at all, save Wii Play, which came with the extra Wiimote.

“no Wii title has sold at all, save Wii Play”

Aren’t there already like 8 different Million sellers on Wii?

  2. Jonah Falcon Says:

The attach rate for the Wii is dreadfully low. Even Twilight Princess undersold expectations.

A lot of non-gamers buy the Wii, but don’t want to spend any more money on it.

  3. Devin Grimes Says:

Yeah, I can attest to that: I only have 2 Wii games…heck, I even have more PS3 games than that…
