The retro version of a Halo 3 bombshell hits Virtual Console on November 5th - Super Mario Bros. 3 debuts for the Wii, according to Go Nintendo:
Well, I just had the best surprise of my life tonight. I know I am not the only one to get this message (I am sure other media members got it, just a quick switch of names), but still, for a Nintendo nerd like me it is amazing. I got a voicemail on my phone from Charles Martinet, and he was in character of course. The voicemail confims that Super Mario Bros. 3 is hitting the NA Virtual Console tomorrow. He also happens to re-confirm the other two VC titles we already learned were hitting tomorrow.
Are you stoked?

Very nice. This is the game I’ve been waiting to replay…even though it hasn’t been long since the last time.

SMB3 still holds up - just ask anyone who played it on the GBA as Super Mario Advance 4.
