Xbox Live Update: Download Full Xbox Games

CVG has announced a stunner for the Xbox 360 dashboard update coming on December 2: you’ll be able to download full original Xbox games to your 360, including Halo: Combat Evolved, Fable, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, and Burnout 3.
The games will cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15 USD).
You just know there’s going to be a revival of Crimson Skies Live games, and will Live functionality be included in the original Halo? People jumped through hoops to have internet play with it - GameSpy Tunnel, anyone?
(Thanks, Joystiq.)

Sounds like a great addition. The price is pretty reasonable as long as hard drive space isn’t an issue. I hope they won’t just be running in back compat. mode, though…access to your friend’s list and such would be nice.

Thanks for updating the story to relect that CVG pulled the article.
Is it possible to highlight Updates better? Bolding, Underline and or flashing.
It’s a shame when people keep reading potentially incorrect stories without some kind of obviuos notice in advance.

Greatest idea ever! How about giving us $$$$-Marvel vs. Capcom 2-$$$$ but this time you can fight ONLINE! Everyone would buy it mostly becuz the original one for the Xbox had no online play, so there would be a real advantage for that version.
