For those of you who are buying Need for Speed: Pro Street tomorrow, guess what? You’re not getting every car you possibly can. No, EA is gratefully allowing you to pay $10 to unlock every performance bundle in the game. Yes, it’s $10 to cheat. And that’s not all, folks. You can pay $5 a piece to unlock car packs without earning them in-game, too… just to cheat.

Ain’t ripoffs grand?

Now, Pro Street might be the best Need for Speed yet (I’m personally waiting for a new Hot Pursuit), but EA wants you to pay $59.99 PLUS $25 to cheat – and God knows how much more in the future. Remember when cheat codes didn’t require you to pay admission to enter them?

Just when EA didn’t look like an evil behemoth, it slavers drool all over our heads.
