Our belated post about this week’s Xbox LIVE Arcade titles shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise if you have your Arcade settings to “Auto Download,” but here’s the skinny on this week’s releases:
First up is Shrek-N-Roll, which stands out as being one of the first licenses games on the downloadable service. Available for 800 MS Points, here’s Xbox.com’s description:
Join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and 20 other twisted fairy tale friends in Shrek-N-Roll, an addictive and hilarious puzzle game designed for ogres of all ages!
Then, launching the same week as LIVE’s Fifth Anniversary is also its 100th XBLA title on the Xbox 360: Screwjumper! for 800 MS Points. With an ESRB description that involves a “Tobacco Reference,” this one is sure to please all the kiddies out there.
Our final piece of relevant content for the day is a TimeShift Multiplayer demo. Plagued with so many other above-average titles surrounding its release, it seems like the devs had quite a few cool ideas, yet nobody willing to try them out for their $60 — now you can, thanks to a last minute cry of “Wait, we’re cool too!” from Sierra Entertainment.
