Headlining this week’s PlayStation Network Store update is, according to Sony, “the funniest game in town!” You may also know it as PAIN — a PSN title that made its first lukewarm appearance at Sony’s Gamers Day earlier in the year, and may just be one of the only games out there to combine the terms “Spank the Monkey” with “Fun With Explosives” — pain, indeed. It’ll run you USD $9.99 to pick up this downloadable, with no demo to try out first, so be aware of what you’re getting yourself into.
Resistance: Fall of Man — a game that just won’t die, but also one where nobody would want it to with such a great emphasis on community features from the guys at Insomniac. Another map pack, dubbed with the creative title “Resistance: FOM: Map Pack 2″ hits the Network today for the low price of USD $4.99, which’ll net you two new maps. If you haven’t picked up the previous map expansion, you can pick both packs up on the cheap thanks to a cheap bundle at $7.99.
