Sony Fires Ad Agency - Why Now?

Joystiq is reporting that Sony is dropping their ad agency TBWA/Chiat/Day.
The biggest question is… why NOW? Considering the disastrous ad campaign with buxom blonds sitting on toilets, crying babies, exploding grandmothers, transparent artificial turfing PSP sites, you’d think that Sony would have dumped them long again.
This is living… on the unemployment line for the agency.
