EGM’s Soul Calibur 4 reveal apparently isn’t an April Fool’s Joke, as this GameTrailers video shows.
However, Yoda won’t be fighting Darth Vader:
- Yoda - Xbox 360
- Darth Vader - PlayStation 3

And the dark lord it is
at least for me.
Because playing a fighting game with the Xbox360 controller and its little design flaw that is the d-pad just doesn’t work for me.

What a joke. Why do this idiotic console exclusive for each character - for Link/Spawn/Heihachi it’s okay - they have nothing to do with each other…
But people want to have Yoda and Darth Vader duking it out against each other. Have console specific characters be the exclusive (ie. Nariko in the PS3 version, Marcus Fenix in the 360 version), but not SW characters.
No serious fighting fan uses a gamepad - they buy the special arcade stick controllers.

Well I tried and went back to the d-pad of the dual shock back in the mid 90s, and had and still have wins against stick-using friends … so to each their own I guess
