Let's see how well you do when you're laid up sick for 2 weeks and are the only person keeping the site alive. I'm reporting the news here, not writing an op-ed piece. When I write a feature article or a review...

The EA CEO said that Spore would be done "by the holidays".

Sarcastic much, Jonah?

I didn't have to read the linked article - you quoted almost the entire thing.

Didn't read the article, huh? Apparently, EA's poor financials is responsible for the game being delayed. The game has been DONE for the last few months.

I don't care about EA's performance... I don't want those jackasses in suits to rush this game through so they can turn a quick buck.

Let the developers make the game fun, stable, and entertaining - and let them take all the time they need. When they're ready - sell it.

So many good games were rushed to market only to be crap because of unfinished or hurried levels, features ripped out because they didn't have time to perfect, or worse - unplayable because they didn't have enough bug-hunting sessions.

Tribes2 comes to mind - it was a great game, only after the third month of patches and updates. Another EA suit-special.
