1Up Hands On First Take of Super Smash Bros. Brawl

1Up has an exciting hands-on first take with a Japanese import version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. An excerpt:
4: The level design most closely resembles a Kirby game — not surprising considering the project leader worked on both games — with multiple doors per level sending you back and forth. Levels include Donkey Kong’s jungle, a Fire Emblem castle, Kid Icarus’s sky temple, interioris, exteriors, the sky, space, underground — you name it!
5: Stages have a great deal of gameplay variety as well, including autoscrolling stages (where you have to keep moving), vertical scrolling levels, and even puzzle-like sections — like one where you have to go in and out of doors, pressing different switches to open up new areas.
