RUMOR: Lost Odyssey 2?

Xbox 360 Fanboy is reporting that there’s a rumor that Mistwalker will be making Lost Odyssey 2:
Nikkei Trendy.net, a Japanese game site, posted an interview with the H&E Head of Microsoft. In the interview he made a comment to the effect of being satisfied with the games initial Japanese sales, and that the series will grow with time. Wait … how can there be a series when there has only been one game? Well, there’s actually several explanations here. The first and most likely explanation is translation error, it’s probable that the translator simply didn’t think much and used the word “series” when the original meaning was closer to “IP“. The second possibility is that it is of course all too true, and the game is getting a sequel.
Are you up for a sequel, or are you shocked that sales of an Xbox 360 game in Japan was enough to warrant consideration for a sequel?

Well as the main character in Lost Odyssey I would very much like to see the series grow and become popular like Final Fantasy. But the one thing I dislike is that if it does turn out like Final Fantasy I will not get to return in the following games.

Lost Odyssey is a great game and deserves a sequel.

this game is right up there with final fantasy in my point of view, it deserves a hell of alot more than one sequel(s)

hi ppl yes i love this game and for me it’s the best game in xbox360!!
hope they make a sequel and a movie and kaim continues in all the grown up series!!! and make action figures two

I wish they japanese would get over thier hatred of the xbox if this game was released on the ps3 it would have sold at least 100x and there would be no question that this great game would have a sequal on its way
