Gamershell has posted the press release announcing that Major League Baseball 2K8 has officially gone gold. Odd, since it is going to be released next week.
The innovative Wii controls allow fans the opportunity to pitch, bat, field and run the bases using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk
2K Sports today announced that Major League Baseball 2K8 has reach Gold status and will hit the store shelves on March 4th, for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP and Nintendo Wii. Major League Baseball 2K8 will feature a new pitching interface that allows players to emulate the realistic motion of pitching a live baseball, improved batting controls, precision throw control, 90 authentic minor league teams and two of the best commentators in the business, Jon Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan. The cover athlete and official spokesman for this game is Jose Reyes, the first player in baseball history who has more than 63 steals, 120 runs, 192 hits and 19 homers in a single season.
Are you hot for MLB 2K8?

What kind of review is this? Have you actually played this game? How can you say the game is ‘Gold’ without pointing out all of the glitches? And without mentioning the new pitching mechanics (which are terrible)???
