Call of Duty 4 Map Pack on April 3rd

Infinity Ward has finally set a date on the release of their Call of Duty 4 DLC map pack titled ‘Variety Map Pack’. Starting April 3rd, 2008 you can spend your 800 Microsoft points to download the four new maps.
This is also the day that the new ‘Game of the Year edition’ will be available which will contain new box art and a coupon to download these maps for free. The four new maps are Kill Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown and Killhouse.
The Maps
Kill Creek is a built from scratch map that is a wide open village. Broadcast is an expanded map of the Broadcast Station single player mission. It’s a CQB style map with tight hallways, multiple levels and wide open parking lots to fight in. Chinatown is a new built from scratch map that features a downtown area at night as the fog is rolling in. Killhouse is an expanded map of the training center in the single player story. This map is small and designed mostly for lone wolf style death match.
If you live in San Jose or New York City, Gamestop will be hosting a sneak peek party on March 28th where gamers can get their hands on the new maps and play them in-store before anyone else. On hand will be members from Infinity Ward as well to sign stuff or just kick your ass.
