Today’s Virtual Console Titles: March 24, 2008

kingsknightThis week on Virtual Console is the unholy love child between The Legend of Zelda and Xevious called King’s Knight from the NES, and Powerball which is a Sega Genesis game in which you pick numbers to win big, big cash prizes… er, actually, it’s a fantasy sports game similar to Speedball. Actually, it’s a complete ripoff of Speedball, except it’s medieval instead of futuristic.

  • KING’S KNIGHT™ (NES®, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)
  • POWERBALL™  (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)

Oh, and last week, we neglected to mention the two games that were released on March 17, and both are classics:

  • Spelunker™ (NES®, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)
  • SUPER R-TYPE®  (Super NES®, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)

Honestly, if you can’t get into R-Type
