Monopoly Coming to 360, PS3, PS2 [UPDATE]

Joystiq is reporting that Electronic Arts has issued a press release stating classic Parker Brothers board game Monopoly will not pass Go and will not collect $200 on its way to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2.
This is apparently a sped-up version of the original game, with some new interactive minigames thrown in.
We’ll assume that this rendition will be an Xbox Live Arcade/PlayStation Store game for the 360 and PS3 respectively. Does the PS2 need yet another version of this game?
[UPDATE: Apparently, this is a retail game - and guess what? No online multiplayer. FAIL.]
