Aside from the Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition and the Madden NFL 09 Special Edition, there’s a ton of other Special Editions that want to yank that extra cash from your pocket.
The Alone in the Dark Special Edition,as seen above, comes with: making of documentary, CD soundtrack (8 tracks), art book, and a figurine of in game hero Edward Carnby, as well as a piece of Uwe Boll’s brain.
The Soul Calibur IV Special Edition comes with an art book, and an XL-sized t-shirt - the Xbox 360 version comes with a white Yoda/Siegfried t-shirt and PlayStation 3 owners get a black Mitsurugi/Darth Vader t-shirt.
So, do Special Edition versions of a game really make you excited, or do you prefer a plain vanilla game with just the game and nothing but the game?
