Music, Camp-outs, Canyons, Sunsets, and Gears of War 2

The Sasquatch Festival 2008 held in Washington State, which celebrates Bigfoot with “camp-outs, canyons, sunsets and three stages, and this year (for the first time) a comedy tent”, will be celebrating an altogether different monster this year: Gears of War 2.
The three day festival will feature a playable beta level of Gears of War 2 - something that’s sure to attract more than just the usual festival attendee. Oh, there’ll be 19 Kiosks of other Xbox 360 games, and a Rock Band stage - but Gears of War 2?!

Why? This makes no sense whatsoever? How is a crypto and eagerly awaited videogame related? I wonder who the PR guy for this was?
