DOOM IV Announced

Honestly, need anything more be said - well, save from this quote from Joystiq.

According to the press release, the studio is now hiring for the project. Said CEO Todd Hollenshead, “Doom is part of the id Software DNA and demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installment of our flagship franchise to Earth.”

Only announced for PC, but you can bet it’ll make its way to Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, too.
