I’m sort of surprised that it’s recieved such high scores myself, I thought I’d be playing a perfect game, but it’s far from that, and I don’t know if the immersive cityscape make up for all the other flaws in the game… we’ll see!

to keep it short, i agree with you that the game has many problems. i feel it’s irresponsible of review sites and other gaming community sites who have been caught up in GTA4 fever to just give the game 10/10. there are many things in the game worthy of docking the game some points.
