No Red Alert 3 for PlayStation 3

Yuri tells Mitchy, 'No PS3 version!'At the risk of Mitchy Dyer screaming, “Fanboy bias! Fanboy bias!”, Joystiq is reporting that Electronic Arts has ceased development of Red Alert 3 for the PlayStation 3, as development continues for the PC and Xbox 360 versions.

EA has confirmed to Eurogamer that production on Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 has halted for the PS3. The publisher gave no explanation for the full-stop and didn’t allude to any time when development may start up again.

This probably has something to do with the fact that the PC and Xbox 360 both use DirectX, while you need to take classes to program for the PlayStation 3.
