Mega Man 9 “Currently” Only for Wii

We posted a story from Ars Technica yesterday that Capcom would be showing Mega Man 9 at E3 for all three next-gen consoles. Turns out Ars Technica was wrong - or at least premature, since Capcom saw the story too and notified them that they were quoting a “misprint” and that MM9 was “currently” only a WiiWare release. That’s publisher code for “we have a limited time exclusivity with video game manufacturer and we’re not supposed to acknowledge it’ll be multiplatform yet.”
Capcom has never, ever, ever turned down a chance to make more money, so either get a Wii or be patient.
(Thanks, X3F.)
