Patapon 2, LocoRoco 2 Coming

Japan loves its PlayStation Portable, and this week’s issue of Famitsu is wholly dedicated to Sony’s portable console. Better, though, is that within the pages of the Japanese gaming magazine are the confirmation that many of us have been waiting for LocoRoco 2 and Patapon 2 are in development and coming to the PSP, in Japan. Patapon 2 has even been slated for a winter release, but no word yet on a date for LocoRoco 2. No word on whether these titles are coming here or when.
I wouldn’t worry too much. Both of these games did well enough in the States, and I’m sure we’ll see release dates appear for them soon, perhaps as early as next week at E3. I enjoyed Patapon immensely; so much so even know after putting the game down a few months back I still catch myself saying “pata, pata, pata, pon!“
