E3: Nintendo Conference Summary

Okay, here’s the summary of the Nintendo conference at E3:
- Wii Fit balance board games, including Shaun White Snowboarding because, well, no one wants to get hurt doing real snowboarding, and Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party
- Super Mario Bros. and Mario Kart DS
- Animal Crossing: City Folk
- Wii Speak, basically an online mike like the Xbox 360’s headset.
- Spore Creatures, which is the DS version that only features the Creature phase
- Wii Sports Resort, which is Wii Sports on the beach
- Wii Music, which is basically a music game which is easier (read as: dumbed down) so anyone can play
Perhaps the biggest surprise is Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS. PlayStation Portable fanboys are probably gnashing their teeth on this one.

Meh. Kinda disappointing. They really needed to call out a new Zelda game or Mario game.
Sure, it’s an old overdone franchise but people eat it up.

Sorry, I mean Mario for the Wii. Mario DS games…way overdone anyway.
