Gears of War 2 Hardcore Mode: Horde

Cliff Bleszinski (aka CliffyB) in an interview with MTV Multiplayer revealed a little bit more about the new multi-player mode in Gears of War 2: Horde. Horde is a co-operative mode where you and four of your buds take on wave after wave of Locusts. CliffyB revealed that there would be 50 waves in the mode and that each wave would be more difficult than the one previous. Since the difficulty can really ramp up in 50 waves, your progress can be saved every 5th level.
How high can it ramp up? CliffyB confesses that he’s only gotten to the 27th wave. Maybe he sucks at t, but we won’t know til we try it out for ourselves!
