E3: Castlevania: Judgment - Laughable?

Some of Joystiq’s reporters happened to overhear some booth workers at Konami’s booth at E3 the other day, and what did they happen to hear? A senior type telling another booth worker that he had the ability to kick people at of Konami’s booth.
Why? Why would you want to kick someone out of your booth? The point of the booth is to get people to come into it so you can market your stuff to them! Well, it seems some of these booth guests found one of the games funny, and not in the good way. Castlevania: Judgment apparently isn’t quite living up to expectations, no matter how low they are. At least some people can find humor at the death of a franchise I’ve loved since I was a kid.

I wouldn’t say the franchise is dead. I particular enjoyed every single Castlevania game on the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS. They are great, and don’t try to jump to any 3rd dimension. I do believe there is yet another one coming out for the DS soon, and without a doubt, it will be mine (unless the make it a fighting game, then I’d cry).

It’s so sad because Konami is forcing Igarashi to make these games instead of letting the guy do what he wants! He has to keep making Dawn of Sorrows over and over again for portable systems and then crap like this…
I don’t know why the guy stays there except for the fact that he really really loves Castlevania… Regardless I’m not playing this or supporting it in any way, Order of Ecclesia? I’ll buy as soon as it comes out, I just hope one day Konami lets the man do what he wants to…

[...] is a good thing because it looks like his next title, Castlevania Judgement, a 3-d fighting game, is going to fail miserably. A Plan B looks like a good idea from here. Strange as it sounds I think Koji is cheering on Konami [...]
